In an IP network, all communication terminals are connected via network cable, so their communication is all conducted through the internet. Obviously, this is not limited by distance or LAN.
So how should the connection be arranged? Only one IP server is needed, also connected via network cable. The server’s number range can be assigned to several terminal devices, each with an address on the internet, enabling them to communicate with each other. Furthermore, through the server’s IP address, the connection between them and the server can also be wireless and unaffected by distance. As for the number of connections, the number of terminals depends on the performance of the IP server, and theoretically there is no upper limit.
